Directions to this property:


As there is no parking at McIlroy Building we normally give directions from the train station.

As soon as you come out of Reading train station you will see a small roundabout opposite and slightly to your left. Walk straight over the roundabout to the end of Station Road and then carry on straight along Victoria Street. At the end of Victoria Street turn right into Broad Street; Broad Street is a paved shopping street. Go straight down approx 500 metres, you will go over a pedestrian crossing and the McIlroy building is on the right hand side between ‘Footprints Shoe Shop and ‘Coral Bookmakers’.

Reading is famous as one of the UK’s top ten retail destinations. The Oracle shopping centre, with its array of shops, cafes, wine bars, restaurants and cinema is within five minutes walk of the McIlroy apartments.

Broad Street Shopping Mall is directly opposite the apartments. For the nature enthusiasts, Forbury Gardens, a nationally acclaimed Victorian formal garden, is the town’s floral heart. The gardens lead you to the ruins of Reading Abbey, an ancient monument and setting for open air theatre in the summer months. Wander through the ruins to the Kennet and Avon Canal, strolling past Reading Gaol and the Oscar Wilde gates.

The McIlroy Building is conveniently located for all of Reading transport connections. Reading train station is a five minute walk; where First Great Western operates services to Slough, Oxford and London Paddington, with South West Trains operating services to Basingstoke, Bracknell and Wokingham.
